Union Savings Bank hosts September Business After Hours

IMG_0010Union Savings Bank of Canton Branch Manager, Linda Lydem, and her staff welcomed thirty members and guests to an enjoyable evening of networking, food and refreshments served by Two Pour Guys. Brian Coates, VP of Commercial Services, introduced branch staff: Debbie, Tracy, Amy and Joe. Union Savings staff are celebrating Stellar Teller Joe Voelker’s impending October 15th marriage to Melanie Carbone.

IMG_0008 Chamber members were joined by four guests: Jacek Mikolajczyk of Bershire Hathaway, Edward Virag of Virag Associates, Adam Horelik of Norcom Mortgage, and Mario Chiapetti of Junior Achievement.

IMG_0009Mario Chiapetti, Director of Education & Volunteer Engagement at Junior Achievement, informed attendees of the Junior Achievement Day coming up at the Canton Intermediate School on November 17th.  The Canton Chamber is helping to find eighteen volunteers to be instructors for the three lessons in grades 4, 5 and 6, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Volunteers will receive training on November 2nd between 5:30 and 7:30 PM. See the attached flyer to learn more and become a volunteer.  Volunteer for JA Day – November 17th

The event concluded with a drawing for door prizes provided by Riverside Nursery, Michael D’Apice at MoneyMindfulness, Union Savings Bank, the Farmington Valley Stage Company, and Gallery on the Green.
