Co-hosts, Lori and Ken Cornett of Make It GF, brought samples of their gluten-free products for everyone to sample. Our guests enjoyed slices of their freshly cooked pizza, pasta, and desserts.  Paula and each of the physical therapists had a chance to describe the services they provide at the Canton location and the other three offices in Winsted, Torrington, and Windsor, that are part of Cura Centers. Guests were impressed with the variety and range of physical therapy services for both treatment and injury prevention. President Gary Roman invited each member to highlight their business activities during the networking and sharing time. Gary also spoke about current Chamber activities including the upcoming public hearing on a proposed zoning regulation amendment for electronic message sign boards. The Chamber has conducted a survey to obtain member opinions on the proposal. Gary asked Jay Kaplan, Director of Roaring Brook Nature Center, our 2018 Business of the Year, to speak about the ongoing renovations at the center.
