January Business After Hours – A Huge Hit!

| January 23, 2019

Our January Business After Hours at Francesca’s Wine Bar & Bistro set a record with the highest pre-registration in many years. 48 members registered for the event. The actual attendance was nearer 50 including guests. Owners Mike and Sue Butler welcomed everyone to their restaurant at 105 Main Street in Collinsville. Mike introduced daughter, Nicole, and son, Sean, who is the Executive Chef. Chef Sean told everyone about his passion for incorporating farm-to-table in the menu which is changed periodically to take advantage of local products.

President Shawn Cole, owner of the Yoga Center of Collinsville, introduced new members from Resilience Grows Here. Justine Ginsberg of RGH explained how the program benefits veterans with PTSD, suicide prevention, and other issues, while helping with employment and other support. Shawn also introduced guests and prospective members. Door prizes included tickets to the Farmington Valley Stage Company’s production of Incendiary and a gift certificate to Francesca’s.

The wide assortment of appetizers prepared by Chef Sean for the event were delicious. Mike and Sue offered an assortment of wine, beer and other beverages for the group’s enjoyment. Francesca’s maintains an extensive wine list including premium wines at special pricing.
