Scene from It Shoulda Been You

FV-StageCompanyMay’s Business After Hours hosted by the Farmington Valley Stage Company was accompanied by flashes of lightning and the crash of thunder. Despite heavy rain and the threat of tornadoes in other parts of the state, the show went on with a smaller audience than usual. The cast and crew of the latest FVSC production — It Shoulda Been You –were excellent hosts and performed several numbers from the show that debuted on Friday, May 18th. Those that braved the weather were treated to cake and faux champagne along with food and other refreshments.

The evening wasn’t a total washout. The crew and cast were able to work on the set which undergoes many transformations during the show. The musical comedy involves two families preparing for a wedding at a hotel. The show is filled with all sorts of pits and pratfalls. Thank you to Ron Faibusch, Doreen Cohn, Ken Jones, and the members of the cast and crew.
