2019 Holiday Party

| January 7, 2020

2019holiday-party-logoThe Canton Historical Museum and Don Scott once again hosted the Chamber’s annual Holiday Network & Nosh on December 4th. About 60 Chamber members and guests enjoyed a wide assortment of appetizers and desserts generously supplied by the Joseph Family and ShopRite of Canton. Surrounded by the enchanting Gallery of Trees, the festive mood could easily be seen on everyone’s faces. The Wine and Liquor Warehouse provided the liquid refreshments.

The mood was further enhanced by the large number of silent auction items donated for the event  by Chamber members and local businesses. The silent auction resulted in $340 for the Chamber’s Gifts for Canton program. Gifts for Canton Co-Chair Rebecca Stevenson of Cherry Brook Health Care Center was present to talk about Canton Chamber’s Gifts for Canton and the upcoming gift distribution to families.

The highlight of the evening was the second annual Chamber Trivia contest prepared by Kristin Oswald of Planning Partners and the Membership Committee. The guests were assigned to random teams to answer a series of ten questions. The laughter and discussions provide a fun networking opportunity.

Incoming Chamber President Lou Daniels of Call a Doctor Plus presented a plaque and the traditional engraved Collins Axe to Shawn Cole of the Yoga Center of Collinsville, who becomes the Immediate Past President on January 1st.

Thank you to Angie Roman, Kim Hathaway, and the Events Committee for decorating and planning the event.
